EXPERIENCE

Stehen W. Gettel, MAI & Realtor directs Gettel & Associates providing real estate advisory services including brokerage,appraisal and consultation services in the Monterey Bay Area focusing on both commercial and residential properties especially in Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Santa Clara Counties.

Steve Gettel has specialized in real estate involving single family residential and small residential income properties as well as large, complex, and special purpose properties.  Steve has been involved in a wide variety of sophisticated transactions and assisted both buyers and sellers in the analysis and formulation of purchase prices.  These transactions have involved agricultural land, subdivisions, apartments, hotels, shopping centers, office buildings, industrial facilities, R&D projects, and unique special purpose properties.

Steve Gettel’s experience has included fee simple, leased fee and leasehold interests as well as partial property interests.  These services have been performed for a variety of purposes including: merger and acquisition planning, financing, estate tax planning, strategic corporate planning, as well as litigation support and dispute resolution, such as IRS appeals, marital dissolution, and property tax assessment appeals.  Steve has worked individually and as part of a team and has been accredited and provided testimony as a real estate valuation expert.
